Creom CL Smoothlay Latex is an easily applied self-levelling latex smoothing compound with excellent adhesion and hardness properties. Creom CL Smoothlay Latex is a protein and ammonia-free compound which makes it ideal for most uses including sensitive areas such as hospitals, schools etc.

The key feature of Creom CL Smoothlay Latex is its ability to be one of the hardest yet smoothest materials in the field. Creom CL Smoothlay Latex requires only minimal preparation prior to the application of any vinyl or hard floor coverings, saving precious time and money for the contractor.

Mixing

Gradually mix one 23Kg bag of Creom CL Smoothlay Latex powder into 5 litres of Creom CL Smoothlay Latex Liquid. Making sure the liquid is poured into a clean mixing container, gradually add the powder. Mix using an electric mixing paddle at a slow speed. Slow mixing produces an air free and lump free mixture. Mix until an even consistency is achieved. Granite chips may be added to bulk out the Creom CL Smoothlay Latex.

Application

Pour mixture onto the floor area and spread evenly using a steel trowel. Creom CL Smoothlay Latex will settle across the floor levelling out hollows in the sub floor. A spiked roller may be used to assist application if required.
